About the Journal

CIEX Journ@l is an academic and research journal published in Chilpancingo, the capital city of the state of Guerrero, Mexico. This journal is issued biannually, and the idea of publishing it emerged as a response to the effort made by researchers, professors, students, and authorities who are always in search of innovative language teaching methodologies, techniques, and strategies, and who have produced studies related to the areas of language teaching and applied linguistics.

The journal has three sections: research articles, values, and CIEX symposium summaries. The section of articles includes the results of original research about language teaching and applied linguistics by local, national, and international researchers, scholars, professors, and graduate students from public and private universities, research centers, and other institutions. The section of values presents essays related to academic and personal experiences. And CIEX symposium summaries are added to update language teaching professionals on current practice topics.

The issues are published in April and October of each year.
